Up to 75% of the net proceeds generated by the South Central WI Affiliate stays in our service area of Dane, Rock, Sauk, Dodge and Iowa Counties to fund breast health education and breast cancer screening and treatment programs. Total local grants funded to date: $4.2 million
The remaining 25% goes to the National Susan G. Komen for the Cure grants program to fund breast cancer reserch programs

Brief Summary of Priorities
Priority 1. Expansion Develop and provide opportunities to fully integrate the expansion counties into the Service Area
Priority 2. Access Promote availability of, and accessibility to, affordable breast health screening, treatment, and follow-up care.
Priority 3. Messaging Increase educational outreach to individuals in affiliate service area to ensure delivery of accurate, consistent and culturally appropriate information so individuals can make well-informed decisions throughout the continuum of care.
Priority 4. Survivorship Support Strengthen availability and accessibility of breast cancer information and services to address the specific needs of survivors.
Priority 5. Collaboration/ Evaluation Create collaboration opportunities and evaluation measures to better leverage delivery of services among providers in the community.
