Multiply your impact, multiply your fun!

Participating in the Susan G. Komen South Central Wisconsin Race for the Cure® with a team increases the fun, the laughter and maybe even the tears you share on Race day.

Did you know that one in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime? Help us fight back by forming a team in honor or in memory of someone you know impacted or touched by breast cancer. Together you make an even greater impact than you could alone.

Form a Team Join a Team

Steps to start or join a team today:

  1. Select the team captain: The captain must register first and create the team before members can join.
  2. Choose a team name and team division that best fits your team. During registration, designate whether you're a friends & family, corporate or school team.
  3. Invite friends, co-workers and family to join you! Email, Facebook or tweet everyone you know and invite them to register to Race with you.
  4. Set up your personal team web page. After you register, log in to your Participant Center to add a photo of your team, set a fundraising goal and tell everyone why you Race for the Cure.

Thanks to our Race Teams and other generous supporters, we were able to grant $550,000 toward education, screening and treatment services right here in our community in 2013.

For companies or groups who wish to pay for all or a portion of their team's registration fees, please contact us at  A special registration code will be given to you to share with your team members prior to their registration.

Team Packet Pick Up

Teams of 10 or more members are invited to pick up their team packet on Wednesday, May 28, at All Comfort Services (5245 Voges Road, Madison) from 5-7pm.

Teams of 9 or less members are encouraged to participate as a team on Race day, however, registration packets will need to be picked up individually on Friday, May 30, from 9am to 6:30 pm at the Exposition Hall of the Alliant Energy Center or Saturday, May 31 (Race Day!) at Willow Island at the Alliant Energy Center from 6am until 7:45am.

Participant Center Pages are a Great Resource, Especially for Team Captains!

Be sure to check out your individual fundraising page and team fundraising page in your Participant Center.  Team Captains can also see valuable information here such as team roster, shirts sizes, and survivorship status.  To view a fantastic, short how-to video, CLICK HERE.

Fundraising is Easy with Online Tools!

When you register for the Race, you automatically receive your very own fundraising website in the Participant Center. Teams also receive an additional Team fundraising page. Your Team page is a website that friends and family can visit to find a team member or give a donation that supports the fundraising efforts of the entire team. Personalize your Race fundraising website. Use it to tell friends and family why you participate in the Race for the Cure. You can even accept donations online, right from your fundraising website. To make your page more dynamic, upload a link to a video clip or activate the blog feature. All of this and more is waiting for your Team once you register for the Race!
